While eating lunch outside the other day, I noticed the birds in the trees.. They take off and fly so gracefully and then they land once more on a branch somewhere shady. Birds are just about the only wild life in my garden.. oh and the odd stray cat. So I hopped on the internet and searched for some illustrations on birds and these are my wonderful finds..

This picture is sooooo very sweet! This cute little birdy was drawn by Kate Wilson.  How creative and imaginative!  I would never have thought of a bird in an ice-cream cone!!! Would you? Brilliant! 

This illustration is also very lovely but the illustrator is unknown… If anyone does know I would love to hear from you! I love the reflection of the yellow bird and all the fine detail on the tea cup!

Happy Monday everyone!
When I first saw this cute bear on ememem’s Etsy store I didn’t realize it was a brooch!! And you may already know I have a fascination with brooches! These little bears come in a variety of colours and each brooch has a mini imaginative story with it that made me even more excited!

Can you imagine all the complements you would receive wearing these out and about!

Its friday and its raining…
Although its quite dark outside and has been all day, I am pleased that it rained. I do like the rain, it cleans the air and everything seems greener afterwards… I found this drawing on
heidi burton’s flickr photostream and new exactly where she was coming from!
I do like people who smile when it rains..

Today I managed to cook a delicious batch of home made Choc chip cookies! I have failed in the past trying to make these, but today I surprisingly succeeded! I am so very proud of myself I thought I would share them with you!

It amazes me the things that can be found when we aren’t even really looking! I came across this artwork by Eveline Tarunadjaja today and was amazed! The detail is just perfect. I particularly love the lively hair!

This artwork reminds me of a world of pure imagination, a place where sometimes I wish I could visit. These pictures are sort of an escape, a portal into your imagination!

They remind me of a day dream you sometimes get when you stare blankly out a window and ideas just come flying towards you!
