As you might have noticed (or maybe not) but it seems my blog has had a bit of an update! Yerp, it’s been 2 years with my blog and it’s been great to be able to grow and share lovely things with you, but I thought it was time for my blog to grow with me. What do you think of the new design? I sure hope you like it :) A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped in the designing and creating process, and a special thank you to Jin : )
I have been pretty busy creating goodies for you all! But more on that another time. For today, I’ll let you take a look!

Sarah Illenberger’s work left me saying “Oh wow!!” I mean really, beetroots into rubies? Its very clever and very unique. Oh and that green vegetable dress is just screaming inspiration! Maybe check out Sarah’s site, it has loads more of her work and its worth the visit, I promise : )
How well do stripes work with roses? I mean they simply look beautiful together! I made this rose brooch out of felt. I drew a template of a petal and then cut each petal out and stuck them together using a glue gun. It worked out quite nicely perhaps I should do a tutorial ? I did look for one whilst making mine, but I couldn’t find one anywhere!! Maybe its time to put one out there. Hmm but before that I suppose I would need more red felt. For now you can see the finished product! Hope you like it !Have A Magical Day!
I don’t even remember when I first started this drawing! Sometimes I will start something, and then leave it for a really long time, and come back to it whenever I feel like it. This was left unfinished for a very long time and I decided to complete it tonight. It reminds me of a bowl of vegetables or fruit.. I’m not sure why, maybe its the colour. Her earrings remind me of an orange and her jacket is reminiscent of beans.. So what do you think about this young women?
Frankie Magazine has recently interviewed an artist by the name of Elizabeth Bauman! When I first saw her work I was really amazed. When I saw her paintings, they made me want to take a photo and start painting it!

Awhile ago, Google re-designed their logo honoring Josef Frank. Who is Josef Frank you may be asking, well thanks to Google I discovered that he was an Austrian-born architect, artist, and designer born in 1885. If you missed it that day here it is and some of his inspiring work!
In addition to his architectural work he created designs for furniture, furnishings, fabrics, wallpaper and carpet.

I haven’t done an Illustration of the week in a long time.. maybe I should change it to a monthly post.. : )
Anyway.. So, I have taken a particular liking to this piece entitled ‘Don’t pull my hair please!’ I love the flowers and the yellow strip on her eyes AND her they way her black hair has been done is wonderful!
The artist of this beautiful work is Charmaine Olivia! The thing I love most about her work is her unique style. I love artists that have there own technique because it makes there work so much more original!
You can find Charmaine’s work here Including this cute piece named ‘A deer wearing gym socks’ : )
Or you can visit her imaginative blog!
